Meet our founder:
My journey as a therapist began with a moment I’ll never forget, supporting a young girl who shared something no child should ever have to carry. That experience ignited my commitment to understand trauma, hold space with care, and help people find their way back to themselves after life’s hardest moments.
Since then, over the last 11 years, I’ve worked across many settings in Australia and internationally: supporting children in foster care, delivering therapeutic programs to men in medium to maximum security prisons, support to individuals in offshore immigration detention centres, walking alongside families and remote First Nations communities, offering support in inpatient mental health units, drug and alcohol services, disaster response, and remote FIFO contexts. Each role has shaped my belief in human resilience and the healing power of connection.
At the centre of my work is a love for people and their stories. I’m guided by compassion, curiosity, and presence, both in therapy and in life. I also believe in the value of a challenge. With warmth, humour, and a little tough love when needed, I help people identify and understand emotional and behavioural patterns, step into growth, and reconnect with their own strength.
I am deeply passionate about men’s mental health, perinatal and postnatal wellbeing, and supporting people through trauma, grief, relationships, identity, and life transitions. Whatever the focus, I aim to bring safety, creativity, and genuine care into the work.
I find balance in the ocean, freediving, reading, pilates, and practices that nourish body and soul. Living in a truck camper for a year and travelling through Canada and the USA remains one of my most treasured experiences, reminding me of the beauty of listening, learning, and connecting across cultures.
My approach is grounded in embodiment. I believe healing happens not just in the mind, but through the body, in nervous system awareness, felt safety, and authentic connection.
Dear past & future clients,
It is a privilege to be welcomed into the most raw and authentic moments of your life, and for this I remain eternally grateful.

FAQs

The first session is a psychological assessment. This means we’ll explore your history, current challenges, strengths, and goals so I can build a clear understanding of your unique situation. I take a holistic approach, looking not only at symptoms but also at the wider context of your life, relationships, work, physical health, values, and coping strategies. This helps us identify the most suitable therapeutic pathways and set meaningful goals.

EMDR is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy designed to help you process and release the emotional impact of traumatic or distressing experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, EMDR works with the brain’s natural healing processes to reduce the intensity of painful memories and allow you to move forward with greater ease and clarity.
Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps your brain reorganize how traumatic memories are stored, so they no longer trigger overwhelming emotions or physical reactions.
Who can benefit from EMDR?
People experiencing trauma, abuse, or accidents
Anxiety, panic, or phobias linked to past experiences
Grief or loss that feels “stuck”
Recurrent distressing thoughts, flashbacks, or intrusive memories
What makes EMDR unique?
Targets both the emotional and physical impact of trauma
Can create rapid shifts in how you feel and respond to past events
Supports a sense of empowerment and safety in daily life
EMDR is a collaborative process. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you, integrating the work with other strategies to rebuild confidence, resilience, and personal power.

Somatic Therapy is a body-focused approach that recognises how stress, trauma, and emotional experiences are stored in the body. It complements traditional talk therapy by addressing physical sensations, tension, and patterns that can influence mood, behaviour, and wellbeing.
How it works:
Uses mindful awareness of bodily sensations to identify areas of tension or stress
Incorporates gentle movement, breathing, and grounding techniques to release stored stress
Supports the nervous system in regulating responses to stress and trauma
Helps integrate physical, emotional, and cognitive experiences for holistic healing
Who it’s for:
People with a history of trauma or chronic stress
Those experiencing anxiety, panic, or emotional dysregulation
Clients seeking a more embodied, whole-person approach to therapy
Somatic Therapy is evidence-informed and works alongside other modalities, such as EMDR, CBT, or mindfulness, to provide a comprehensive approach to mental health. It helps clients not only process emotions and memories but also restore physical and emotional balance, improving daily functioning and resilience.
-
Many people have had mixed experiences with therapy. Approaches differ, and finding the right fit is important. I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based frameworks while integrating holistic strategies to support mind, body, and overall wellbeing.
